The seven books in the Chronicles of Narnia series, written more than 50 years ago by the great Christian writer CS Lewis, are still hugely popular with children - and their parents.  They are rich in allegory centred around the Person of Aslan the Lion.

The third film in the Chronicles of Narnia series, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is scheduled to reach cinemas on December 10 after a Royal Film Premier in late November.  It follows the success of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) and Prince Caspian (2007).
