Refresh books' Charity of the Year 2011

Re:fresh books’ Charity of the Year 2011 is Wycliffe Bible Translators.
2011 marks the 400th Anniversary of the King James (Authorised) Version of our English Bible. But there are still many ethnic groups worldwide who do not have God's Word in their own language So it is appropriate that we should support Bible Translation work.
There is a collecting box on the shop counter where customers may put their loose change, or any other contribution they may wish to make toward this worthwhile cause.
Wycliffe Bible Translators is part of an international family of organisations working in almost 2,000 languages to see the Bible translated and used by communities that, as yet, do not have the Bible in their mother-tongue. Currently work is yet to start in over 2,200 languages, spoken by 353 million people. By supporting Wycliffe you are helping to give everyone on the planet access to God's word in the language which speaks most clearly to them.
Worldwide there are over 300 million people who do not have access to the story of God's love for his people - the story of the Bible - in the language that they understand the best, their 'heart' language.
Wycliffe Bible Translators believe that the Bible is the best way for people to come to know and understand who God is. Our vision is that by working with churches, organisations and individuals from around the world all people will have access to God's word in a language that they truly understand.
