We are a joint fellowship of the two Baptist churches in this leafy suburb. We are friendly and welcoming, providing a place of safety for those living around us. We are blessed with a number of capable people in teaching, preaching and music. During our morning service the children and youth go into small groups and we have an all-age service on the first Sunday morning of each month. We have house groups that meet at various times throughout the week, monthly midweek meetings and a whole host of social events throughout the year (which all, just about, include food!). We also run a successful Tots and Carers group for the local community on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

St George's is sister church to St Matthew's, Surbiton. The parish motto '.. to know Jesus and to make him known ..' helps us focus our mission in response to the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ. We have creche facilities where parents can be with their young children but still participate indirectly in Services. The 10.00am services on the first, third, fourth and fifth Sunday of each month and also the 11.00am service on the second Sunday, follow a simple pattern from the non-conformist or "Reformed" tradition. A service usually contains a mix of hymns or songs, prayers and Bible readings, leading to a sermon. The 11.30 services follow the same themes but allow for more participation. The evening service provides an opportunity for reflective worship.
