 re:fresh books & christian resources is an independent retailer dedicated to promoting Christian values and lifestyle by stocking Bibles and books that inspire, encourage and teach.
We aim to equip and resource parents, teachers, students, church leaders and youth workers. We also stock a wide range of CDs, DVDs, software, posters, cards, gifts, teaching resources and some general interest books.
re:fresh books and christian resources opened in 2004. It won the much sought-after Small Retailer of the Year award at the Christian Booksellers' Convention in February 2006 (only 14 months after opening) and was runner-up in 2009.

Re:fresh offers a wide range of Bibles, Christian books, cards, gifts, CDs, DVDs, software, teaching resources and church supplies plus a small selection of general-interest books.
 The shop has been fitted out to offer a spacious, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where customers can browse and discuss their needs with staff who know their product and are passionate about their faith. There is a well-stocked children’s corner with DVD player and seating nearby. For music lovers there is a wide range of contemporary and traditional Christian music, with a CD browser and listening post. Customers are invited to enjoy a free cup of Fairtrade tea or coffee while they browse.
There are books to cater for all needs, from people who want to find out more about the Christian faith to Ministers and church leaders who are looking for study materials, teaching or music resources. Re:fresh books stocks an extensive range of books from leading Christian publishers including Authentic, BRF, CWR, Christian Focus, Day One, Hodder & Stoughton, IVP, Kevin Mayhew, Kingsway, Lion-Hudson, Paternoster and Scripture Union. It showcases Lion and Candle children’s books, IVP theological titles and Out of the Ark music resources.
Naturally there is a wide selection of Bibles, at prices to suit every pocket. They include the ever-popular New International Version and Authorised (King James) Version as well as other modern translations such as the English Standard Version, Good News Bible and the New Living Translation.
 There is no other bookshop on The Broadway, so re:fresh books also offers a small selection of general-interest books, including reference books, biographies, good fiction and historical books. The extensive children's section includes Classic and Popular children's fiction.
The expanding range of greeting cards includes both Christian and secular ranges, thereby offering customers a selection of quality, smut-free cards whether they have a Christian faith or not. Customers who buy a card from our secular ranges or blank cards are offered a free text card of their choice to accompany it. Re:fresh also offers a wide range of gift and is a stockist for World Wildlife Fund soft toys, Willow Tree products and Runnymede Glassware.
Re:fresh books is ideally situated close to the Tolworth Junction on the A3, with ample parking nearby including the public/Marks & Spencer car park 1 minute away which offers free parking for up to one hour. Parking is also possible in The Broadway between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Tolworth Railway Station is only 7 minutes walk away and local buses (K1, K2, 265, 281, 406 and 418) pass the door.
Re:fresh books aims to be people-focused rather than promotion-driven. Because it is independent, the stock profile can be tailored to meet local needs, including specific teaching programmes in local churches and, of course, special activities such as Alpha and Christianity Explored Courses. Nevertheless there are always some special offers.
 Re:fresh books is the vision of Marguerite and David Williams who are members of New Malden Baptist Church, where they run a house group and lead Alpha courses. Marguerite, who manages the shop, is a former teacher and has worked for 15 years in the Christian book trade. Both have a burden for seeing people of all ages grow into fully-committed followers of Jesus Christ.
