re:fresh books and christian resources, at 23 The Broadway, Tolworth is an independent Christian bookshop. It won the much sought-after Small Retailer of the Year award at the Christian Booksellers' Convention in February 2006.
Opened in October 2004, re:fresh offers a wide range of Bibles, Christian books, cards, gift items, CDs, videos, DVDs, software and teaching resources plus a small selection of general-interest books.
 Re:fresh books has been fitted out to offer a spacious, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where customers can browse and discuss their needs with staff who know their product and are passionate about their faith. There is a well-stocked children’s corner with video/DVD player and seating nearby. For music lovers there is a wide range of contemporary and traditional Christian music, with a CD browser and listening post.
There are books to cater for all needs, from people who want to find out more about the Christian faith to Ministers and church leaders who are looking for study materials, teaching or music resources. Re:fresh books stocks an extensive range of books from leading Christian publishers including Authentic, BRF, CWR, Christian Focus, Day One, Hodder & Stoughton, IVP, Kevin Mayhew, Kingsway, Lion-Hudson, Paternoster and Scripture Union. It includes a section devoted to local publisher, The Good Book Company, and showcases Candle children’s books, IVP theological titles and Out of the Ark music resources.
Naturally there is a wide selection of Bibles, at prices to suit every pocket. They include the ever-popular New International Version and Authorised (King James) Version as well as other modern translations such as the English Standard Version, Good News Bible, the New Living Translation and the recently-published Today’s New International Version.
 There is no other bookshop on The Broadway, so re:fresh books also offers a small selection of general-interest books, including reference books, biographies, good fiction and historical books.
Re:fresh books is ideally situated close to the Tolworth Junction on the A3, with ample parking nearby including the public/Marks & Spencer car park 1 minute away which offers free parking for up to one hour. Parking is also possible in The Broadway between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Tolworth Railway Station is only 7 minutes walk away and local buses (K1, K2, 265, 281, 406 and 418) pass the door.
Re:fresh books aims to be people-focused rather than promotion-driven. Because it is independent, the stock profile can be tailored to meet local needs, including specific teaching programmes in local churches and, of course, special activities such as Alpha Courses. Nevertheless there are always some special offers.
 Re:fresh books is the vision of Marguerite and David Williams who are members of New Malden Baptist Church, where they run a house group and lead Alpha courses. Marguerite, who manages the shop, is a former teacher and has worked for nine years in the Christian book trade. Both have a burden for seeing people of all ages grow into fully-committed followers of Jesus Christ. Re:fresh books & christian resources, is open from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 9.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday.
