The Transetto Bible (King James Version)
A new concept in book production, the transetto text, light India paper and new flipback® format results in a Bible that is said to be even lighter than its electronic counterpart and slips easily into a pocket or handbag. The pages are viewed in landscape, with two columns running vertically across each spread. The type is a clear 7/8pt font and the flipback® binding allows it to lie flat. Available in blue purple and green. The Bible was the first book to be printed by Gutenberg on the newly-invented printing press in 1455. Now, in the year that marks the 400th Anniversary of the King James Bible, Cambridge University Press has made the King James Version the first book to be published in the UK in this new format. Read the Bible in a year - the ideal gift
re:fresh books has a variety of Bibles designed for daily reading in such a way that the complete Old and New Testament are covered in a year. Some are dated and start with January 1, others are undated but simply numbered Day 1, 2, 3 etc., the Soul Survivor NIV Bible in One Year follows the academic year. Each day's reading takes about 15 minutes. It's never too late to start reading the Bible.
The Big Story (CWR)
365 daily readings (undated) to give an overview of the Bible and see how God's covenant promises are fulfilled in Jesus. The readings are arranged chronologically to show how God's plan unfolds but this is not a chapter-by-chapter coverage of the entire Bible. Each day's Bible passage is printed out together with suggested prayers, praise points, questions, thoughts and application points. 880 pages hardback. £19.99
New Edition coming for Autumn 2011 The Soul Survivor NIV Bible in One Year

# Arranged as 365 daily readings from the Old Testament, New Testament and Psalms/Proverbs. # Starts September 1 and follows the academic year. # Supported by on-line commentary and blogs by Mike Pilavachi & Andy Croft of Soul Survivor.
 NIV Bible in One Year
Starting on January 1, the NIV Bible in One Year has an Old Testament Reading, a New Testament reading and a reading from the Psalms or Proverbs for each day. The Old Testament books are placed in broadly chronological order and the New Testament books are in the same order as they occur in the Bible. So, for example, January 1st covers Genesis 1:1-2:17, Matthew 1:1-25 and Psalm 1:1-6. A time chart and other useful notes and maps are included at the end of the Bible. Currently available in green hardback only with a marker ribbon. Bulk discounts available.
The One Year Bible (NLT)
The One Year Bible is The New Living Translation (NLT) in 365 daily readings. This has an Old Testament reading, a New Testament reading, a reading from the Psalms and a reading from Proverbs for each day. It follows the readings through in sequence starting with Genesis 1, Matthew 1, Psalm 1 and Proverbs 1. For each day there is also a verse or passage in bold text for memorization. Produced in Tu-tone, pink or light blue, soft cover with a grain finish, gilt page edges and a ribbon marker.
The One Year Chronological Bible (NLT)
The One Year Chronological Bible is a New Living Translation and covers the entire Bible in a year in the order in which events happened. So the first 9 months are spent in the Old Testament and the last three months in the New. The prophetic books and Psalms are interwoven with the related historical material. The Gospel accounts of the life of Jesus are presented as one continuous account and the letters of Paul are integrated with the book of Acts. Hardback.
Cover to Cover Complete (CWR)
Cover to Cover Complete follows a one-year chronological reading plan, including the full text of the Bible, compiled by the late Selwyn Hughes and Trevor Partridge. It is based on the Holman Christian Standard Bible text. The days are numbered 1 to 366 rather than being dated, so a user can start reading at any time in the year and does not have to do a double reading if he/she misses a day. There is a devotional thought for each day. A timeline along the bottom of each page sets the text in its historical context and charts, maps and explanatory notes are included where appropriate. There is also an associated section on the CWR website featuring character studies, readers' testimonies and other material. Hardback.
